IRCWCC WEBSITE AND LIST SERVER USE

The Home Page of the International R/C Warship Combat Club, Inc. is available for viewing by all members of the public.The E-mail list server which is accessible from the IRCWCC Home Page is also available to the public, including young adults and children.The language used in all communications posted using that server must reflect this fact.The IRCWCC encourages novice model boat and R/C model enthusiasts to participate in the hobby and the e-mail “list” must be a comfortable place for them to visit and ask questions.Therefore it is the policy of the IRCWCC, Inc., that ALL PERSONS WHO UTILIZE THE CLUB’S WEBSITE OR E-MAIL LIST SERVER SHALL STRICTLY AVOID THE USE OF CRUDE, ABUSIVE, INSULTING OR PROFANE LANGUAGE.

A primary goal of the Club is fun and friendship!Attaining that goal is possible only when everyone participating in the hobby is respectful of others.  Negative comments about individuals or other organizations should be avoided on line unless safety issues are at stake. Any critical comments should be limited to specific facts.Since many comments which are intended to be humorous can easily be misunderstood when communicated solely in writing, any such comments of a potentially critical nature should be clearly marked as having been made in jest.

Rule number one in all IRCWCC activities is that safety is the individual responsibility of each member at all times.  Nothing posted on the IRCWCC web site or e-mail list server should suggest otherwise. In order to avoid any misinterpretation or misunderstanding, comments that imply that any conduct which violates IRCWCC rules or otherwise increases the likelihood of injury to anyone is unacceptable behavior, even when made in jest, and shall not be made.
