My first experience in the IRC. I have to be honest and say I was frightened by all the rumors I had heard. But thru Plato A. and Mikey D. I was bound and determined to see for myself what it was really like. And let me tell you, it was beyond words the sheer joy I found when I got here and got thru the first sortie. Until you have battled here you just haven't battled at all. Everyone was beyond great. The help that was offered up not to mention parts that I needed where passed freely to me, so I could make it on the water and compete with all of them. I was able to trade parts in return so felt great all the way around. You cannot run into a better group of people then those that compete in the IRC. It was like going home after being gone for years. Everyone greets ya' and lets you know you are home. I found my new home. And am very happy with my choice to take the plunge and investigate this fantastic group known as the IRCWCC.
Anyone wanting to feel the rush of combat with out getting hurt this is the place. Just remember it take discipline, hard work and most important good sportsman like conduct. All these things did I witness here at the IRC. Dismiss any rumors and take the plunge, you won't be sorry! I promise! You might even meet me out there on the pond having the time of my life. My name is Bat and I am the 2006 Rookie of the year. Not bad for first time luck. It was the most enjoyable experience I have ever had and plan on keep having it! So don't worry, be happy in the IRC. This in the home of the greatest RC combat experience you can possibly have. If you have any questions you can call me at 1-937-253-1516. I wouldn't put my number on it unless I totally loved it. Thanks for your time, hope to see new members soon. Cannot wait to see all the guys again for more laughs and more combat!
Sincerely BAT MASTERSON, Captain of the FNS RICHELIEU.
