Dear
IRCWCC members who were eligible to vote.
Here
are the results of the 2005 voting on the Rules Proposals and
choices
for Member at Large and Site of Next Year's National
Championship.
Due to a minor number of respondents two of the rules
proposals
were voided. With only 18 total members votes counted a 2/3
majority
was not available on those proposals.
1.
PART V-SECTION A.-SUMMARY-
Add:
#3. The numbers of campaign battles, their duration, and etcetera
shall
be decided at the captain's meeting before NATS.
Was
Approved by majority.
2.
PART II-SECTION B.-HULL PENETRABILITY.PARAGRAPH 2-
Add:
[at the end of the first sentence]"and a second drop test
Wednesday
morning."
Was
Disapproved.
3.
PART II-SECTION J.-COMPLIANCE WITH CONSTRUCTION RULES-
Add
Paragraph: All ships shall be placed on their sides and the area
of
penetrable window be measured and verified, etcetera.
Was
Disapproved for lack of a 2/3 majority.
4.
PART II-SECTION J.-COMPLIANCE WITH CONSTRUCTION RULES-
Add to
Section 4: Prior to the start of NATS each Hull will float
within
1/8 inch of it's marked waterline, et al.
Was
Approved.
5.
PART V-SECTION D. 1.-CONVOY SHIPS AND THEIR DUTIES-
Replace:
"once in every 20 minute period" with "once in every 10
minute
period".
Was
Approved.
6.
Mr. Robert Stalnaker has been reelected as our Member at Large
and we
all wish him a happy and productive service in the conduction
of
that office.
7.
BYLAWS ARTICLE III. ELECTED OFFICERS; DUTIES. PARAGRAPH C.
Change
the Second Sentence to: They shall serve from the first day of
January
next following their election until the last day of December of
that
same year or until a successor is duly appointed.
Was
Approved.
8.
DATES AND LOCATION OF THE 2006 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
Camp Conron, Holmes, NY July 23 - 28, 2006
